Apprenticeships

Do you have a passion for this magnificent breed and how they work? Would you like to have a career working with Suffolk Punch heavy horses? We work in partnership with the College of West Anglia offering work-based programmes, allowing people to study for an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Equine studies.

For people aged 16 - 19 inclusive we provide apprenticeship programmes for up to two years, incorporating placements consisting of 35 hours a week of work based learning with 10 hours per week of NVQ commitments based on our estate.

For people aged 19 and over who have an interest in heavy horse care, we offer a 45 week NVQ course which can be fitted in around a current job or other commitments. The course can be undertaken over the 45 weeks either full time (10 hours per week) or part time (5 hours per week) NVQ level 2 and level 3 training. These courses are run every Wednesday.
