Traditional Country Funerals

Instead of a modern hearse we are able to provide our Horkesley Park Suffolk Punches to draw one of our vehicles appropriate for a traditional country style funeral.

Our horse drawn vehicles range from a restored harvest wagon, which traditional country people, lovers of the countryside, and/or those wishing to have a “green funeral” sometimes prefer, to a restored black and gold brewery dray and other carriages.

As all Suffolk Punches are a shade of chesnut in colour, they provide for some a welcome alternative to everything being in black.

We work directly with the client’s chosen funeral directors in making all necessary arrangements.

All coachmen are smartly attired in traditional livery and work hard to make the day run as smoothly as possible. As our Suffolk Punches are well trained to a high standard a professional service providing peace of mind, is assured
