Newsflash 2 - Peggy
Its a hat-trick - Announcing the safe arrival of a beautiful filly on Tuesday 16 June. After a very quick labour, 7 year old Quanta gave birth to Peggy who was up on her feet within 10 minutes. Peggy gets her name
from Daniel's late grandmother and of course shares the "Horkesley Park" prefix along with all our new-born foals.
Peggy and Quanta are both doing well and have joined Joy, John, Grace and Peter in the meadow, playing and enjoying the sunshine together!

Newsflash - Peter
Celebrating another new arrival! - on 2nd June we were celebrating again after the safe early morning arrival of a second colt foal, this time born to first time mum, Grace.
Daniel Bunting named this foal Peter after his late grandfather with the prefix "Horkesley Park" in accordance with the usual protocol. Five weeks on and Peter and Grace are doing well and have now joined
John and Joy on the Westwood Park meadow.

New Arrival
We are delighted to announce the arrival of the newest member of the team, Horkesley Park John born in the early hours o f Saturday 14 May to 6 year old mare, Joy. John is Joy's first foal and she is proving to be a loving
and caring mother.
The labour took only 40 minutes and and was very easy considering John is one of the largest foals born on the yard in its 10 year history, weighing in at over 100 Kg and standing some 105cm high.
John brings our number of Suffolks up to 16, nine of which were born on our farm in the last five years.
Training Day

We had a wonderful first "training day" of the year earlier in March with Philippa. Phillippa said it "it was a dream from start to finish" and has given us some lovely
photos to share... We love them!
